And Answers to those Questions

frequently asked questions

01. Is there a limit to the number of photos we'll receive?

There is no limit to the number of photos you'll receive in your final gallery. You will receive all photos that make it through the editing process. This process will remove duplicates, images where subjects' eyes are closed, unwanted lens flares or similar.

02. How do we secure our wedding date with you?

I require a signed contract and 25% deposit to secure your wedding date on my calendar.

Until then, your date is not secured on my calendar and is subject to other inquiries booking the same date. The first signed contract and paid deposit will reserve the date.

03. Will our destination wedding incur additional travel fees?

The tailored proposal you receive will include all travel costs associated with hiring me to capture your big day. There will be no additional costs outside of what is noted in the proposal. Just be thorough in your inquiry with details of your day, hotel blocks, which event(s) you'd like photography coverage of, and anything else that would impact travel for your photography team.

04. What is Film and how much does it cost to add it on?

Film is the original medium of photography. It's analog, physical film strips that - when exposed to light - retain the image captured. Then the film is sent to a premier lab to be developed and professionally scanned for digital use.

Film costs will vary per wedding depending on complexity of coverage. You'll receive a custom proposal after we chat through your expectations of film coverage.

05. Can we add additional hours of coverage after we book you?

Yes. This is a common thing to happen as the timeline gets finalized the month prior to your wedding day. I try to make it as easy as possible for you. It's best to book 9 hours of photography coverage to begin with and as the timeline develops we can discuss adding on additional hours of coverage as needed for your big day.

06. Is an assistant photographer necessary?

I include an assistant photographer in every wedding offering. From my experience, an assistant photographer adds an invaluable touch to a wedding day by allowing me to be in two places at once, gracefully navigate any last-minute changes during a wedding day, and provide alternate angles of moments creating stunning variety in your final gallery.
